Your Christmas Checklist…
December 10th, 2015 // 12:27 pm @ Scott Manning
Today, I’m going to make you a Christmas List…not just any kind of list though, one you should focus on accomplishing before the end of the year. It’s your own little list to check off as you go. My suggestion is to reward yourself, assign a Christmas Gift that you want and open a present every time you achieve completion of one item.
Save something big for the end, sort of like the 12 days of Christmas, if you get them all done do something extra special for yourself.
These are 10 things to do before the end of the year to set yourself up for success and profit in 2016. No more commentary just a list that’ll make you money.
1. Reach out to and recognize your best Patients, Clients, or Customers with some special gift and Holiday Wishes.
2. Plan out your schedule for 2016: travel, meetings, vacations, events with as much detail as possible, have a blueprint for your new year.
3. Same goes for your Marketing Plan: schedule your success and your money, know when you are focusing on what and align your efforts with your goals.
4. Set some time aside during the Holidays to do some New Year cleaning and organizing, remove clutter, dispose of things untouched, make room for new things in the new year.
5. Create your “bucket list” and grand ambitions you wish to experience in 2016, things that motivate you, excite you, give you something to look forward to…then put them on the calendar.
6. Establish your money goals and work backwards to manufacture the results.
7. Make sure you are on track for a strong finish in the month of December… this is the month for action, a built in deadline in the calendar, and people in the mood to spend spend spend.
8. Meet with your team and determine what you will do different next year, position yourself for maximum profits in 2016
9. Make a list of all the things you succeed at, that were positive, that happened to you this past year: your gratitude list of people, places, things, accomplishments…and keep it with you, smile, be thankful…share your feelings with those connected to your list.
10. Last but never least…review and recreate your overall life plan for the next year, assess where you want to be 2-3 years from now, 5-10 year benchmarks and adjust your new year to make sure it’s serving your overall mission and purpose. This next year like all of them should be one you live to the fullest and one that brings you closer to what and where you want to be.
Well, that ought to keep you busy, still all you need is one-a-day with full focus and you’ll be amazed at the energy you feel and drive to achieve when you make this list come to life.
I’d love to hear your feedback, end of the year rituals you have, or thoughts about my list and feedback from your execution, etc.
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
